Where are you located?

I am a mobile speech-language pathologist. This means I come to your home or workplace!

I work with clients in the Greater Memphis area, including Collierville, Germantown, and East Memphis.

Do you take insurance?

No. I am an out-of-network provider with all insurance companies, meaning I do not bill insurance companies for the services I provide.

If you wish to submit your paid invoice to your insurance provider for reimbursement, I am happy to provide you with a Superbill that contains proper documentation for reimbursement.

But I really want to use my insurance! Why don’t you take it?

Truthfully, there are many reasons I don’t accept insurance.

First and foremost, I would not be able to spend 100% of my time and energy on helping YOU get better if I spent hours each day submitting excessive paperwork to a company that is likely to deny payment anyway.

The short answer is that my focus always has been and will always continue to be on the client. With insurance as the middleman, the client takes a back seat; and the decisions that are made are not always in the client’s best interest.

What exactly is a free consultation?

During your free phone consultation, I will ask important questions to better understand the issues you are facing so that I can determine whether I will be the best fit for your therapeutic journey.

If I think that I will not be the best fit for you, I will make an appropriate referral during your consultation.

If I think that I will be able to help you, we will go ahead and set up your first appointment, which will be an in-depth evaluation.

How long will I need to be in speech therapy?

Since each client is treated as an individual, this is an impossible question to answer definitively.

I am known for helping clients reach their goals quickly by implementing a rigorous therapy plan in addition to extensive home exercises.

In general, the more you put into it, the more you’ll get out of it!

You look so young - how do I know that you know what you’re doing?

Thank you for the compliment, and I am happy to share my skincare regimen with you!

All jokes aside – I am not only extremely passionate about what I do, but I stay up to date with the latest evidence-based practice models so that you can be sure you are receiving the best possible care.

I am fully licensed to provide Speech-Language Pathology services in the state of Tennessee, hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and am also a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS).

I am fully trained in all modalities of service that I provide, and I will never use you as a guinea pig (that’s what guinea pigs are for).
